Emily grew up in Rhode Island with a love of the East Coast's historical architecture and building details. She knew from very early on that she had a passion for creating, and immersed herself in art classes and creative outlets. Although she started as a student of fine arts, Emily quickly found her passion in interior design, being drawn to balancing form and function, and enhancing the way people live.
After graduating with a BFA in Interior Design from the New England School of Art and Design in Boston, she packed her bags and headed west to experience the Southern California lifestyle, and begin her career as a young designer. After working for a boutique residential design firm, and a design-build construction firm, Emily moved with her husband to Chicago where she led a team of designers as Interior Design Director, completed numerous high-end residential custom homes, and mastered her craft in preparation for her dream of opening her own business.
Through over a decade of experience with design-build firms in both Southern California and Chicago, Emily has proven project experience to guide a design from conceptual idea to beautifully finished interior using her proven design process. Rooted in her Southern California start as a designer, she weaves coastal, bohemian, and rustic pieces into her luxury interiors, creating effortlessly timeless and comfortable spaces that reflect her clients own style and personality. Returning to her native East Coast, Emily brings a wealth of design and construction knowledge, years of project experience, and the ability to offer full-service residential interior design for both large renovations and quick makeovers.
